» ACM Surprise Party: What surprises are in store at Sunday's 48th Annual ACM Awards? With hosts Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan at the helm, anything is possible ... including not mentioning returning Entertainer of the Year Taylor Swift in the opening monologue. Okay, maybe not that. But we do know that Sheryl Crow, John Fogerty, Miranda Lambert, Scotty McCreeryKacey Musgraves, Jake Owen, Reba and Keith Urban are set to present along with 2 Broke Girls star Beth Behrs, Michael Chiklis of Vegas, Duck Dynasty's Willie and Korie Robertson and San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick. Shelton and Bryan will open the show performing with Brad Paisley on guitar, Crow and Pistol Annies. Jason Aldean will perform. So will The Band Perry, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Tim McGraw, Swift, Carrie Underwood, Lady Antebellum and Little Big Town, Kelly Clarkson, Hunter Hayes, Miranda Lambert, and George Strait and Garth Brooks with a tribute to the late Dick Clark. And Paisley has another number planned with Hayes, Dierks Bentley and, via archive footage, the late Roger Miller.

» Bed Blake & Beyond: Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert have plans to open a bed-and-breakfast across from her retail store, The Pink Pistol, in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, according to InTouch. And why wouldn't they? They've been operating a very successful doggie bed-and-breakfast in their backyard forever. "I never know what to expect when Miranda leaves and goes to town," Blake admits. "I'm really not kidding when I say at least 20, 25, maybe 30 times, she's come home from the grocery store and there will either be a cat or a dog in her car. And they're not always puppies, you know. There might be a damn, big-ass pitbull in there." Blake tries to express his concern about the dangers of non-puppy pickups, but says Miranda always stops him with, "Well, it licked me. So it was nice." The couple keeps the animals until they can find them a good home. No word on when the B&B for humans will open, but the nightly rate is estimated to be around 200 licks.

» Perry Me Home: The Band Perry expected a big crowd at a release party for Pioneer in their hometown of Greeneville, Tennessee last Saturday (3/30). What they didn't expect was so much screaming. The crowd was so loud during the show they had to use subtitles to make a promo video. Watch here. Kimberly, Neil and Reid performed, signed autographs, spent time with family and friends, and raised money for charity. Proceeds from bracelet sales went to Feeding America, and General Mills presented a check for $4,700 to the Second Harvest Foodbank of Northeast Tennessee. Pioneer is in stores now.

» People Person: "If Mike ever told me he needed me to quit, I'd quit," Carrie Underwood tells People for the cover story on newsstands April 5. "When you make that promise to somebody, and you stand before God and your family and friends, you've got to do everything that you possibly can to make that work." More here.
