» More For Moore: Miranda Lambert joined Blake Shelton Tuesday (5/21) on The Voice to perform an acoustic version of "Over You" and urge donations for recovery. "They're going through hell there right now," Shelton said as the program aired live Monday night (5/20). "Lot of fatalities, lot of children. It makes it hard to actually sit here and do this tonight, but [I've] got a job to do and my team's counting on me, so here I am." Ahead of a benefit concert he's putting together for NBC-TV, Shelton is asking fans to share a Facebook link here; JC Penney will donate $1 to the American Red Cross Disaster Giving Program through JCP Cares for every share, up to $50,000. Other Oklahoma natives and residents have expressed sympathy and concern via social media:

  • Trisha Yearwood: "Pray for everyone devastated by these storms, but especially for those families in Moore, OK right now … God, wrap your arms around this community."

"This storm has devastated the community that I grew up in," Toby Keith says. "I rode my bike through those neighborhoods. I have family and friends in Moore. My heart and prayers go to those that have lost so much. But Moore is strong and we will persevere. God be with you all." Keith surveyed the damage and spoke of a benefit concert in a video with the Associated Press. Watch here.
