» Ball Park Frank: Honestly, Jason Aldean batted 1,000 and pitched a shutout as he headlined the first-ever country concert, not to mention doubleheader, at Boston's Fenway Park with shows Friday (7/12) and Saturday (7/13). He smashed the single-night attendance record set by Paul McCartney and broke the two night record previously held by Dave Matthews. "I heard we also set a new all time record for beer sales," says Aldean. "They drank Boston dry ... it was wild!" Both nights featured performances by Miranda Lambert, Jake Owen and Thomas Rhett. Highlights included a surprise appearance from Patty Loveless with Lambert and Aldean reminiscing about his love of baseball, watching [Red Sox players] Jim Rice and Wade Boggs, as a kid.

» Randy Travis Update: Randy Travis' fiancé, Mary Davis, joined doctors for a video update released Monday (7/15). "He feels the hands of the doctors and the care of the nurses and the love of his fans," Davis says. "His friends and family have all been touched by that. He is responding well to voices and he sees and he understands. He’s miles beyond where any of us thought he would be a few days ago." Randy remains in critical condition, but has stabilized at The Heart Hospital of Baylor in Plano, TX. Watch the video here.

» Radio Active: It's not too often radio stations get the opportunity to premiere a music video. Some might even say it's too hard to watch a video on the radio. But Tim McGraw is going to change that when he debuts the "Southern Girl" video on Country radio station websites around the nation at 4 pm ET July 23. "It seems fitting that Country radio would get first crack at this video," said Tim. "They have been such a huge part of making this tour blow up and be so special." » DVR LBT CMA On ABC: Little Big Town is set to host CMA Music Festival: Country's Night To Rock Aug. 12 on ABC-TV. The show will include highlights from LP Field performances by Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Blake Shelton and many more, including rocker Lenny Kravitz.

» Taking Care: The Country Cares Concert headlined by Phoenix native Dierks Bentley has added The Band Perry, Randy Houser and David Nail to the bill. The benefit for The Granite Mountain Hot Shots takes place at Tim's Toyota Center in Prescott Valley, AZ July 22. Proceeds will help raise money for the families of the 19 firefighters who lost their lives fighting the wildfires.
