» Aldean's Double Feature: Jason Aldean will engage fans via Facebook, Instagram, CMT and Palladia during the premiere of his concert film Night Train To Georgia. The DVD will be available in stores Oct. 15, but on Oct. 14 Aldean will stream a "special version" on his Facebook page, allowing comments to create a live chat. In advance of the stream, fans will be encouraged to use Instagram to post videos of themselves dancing marked with #JasonAldeanDVD. CMT will premiere the film Oct. 19 and Palladia will air it Oct. 20. More here.


Just a few days prior to the DVD release, Aldean will star on the big screen in the theatrical release of Sweetwater, out Oct. 11. January Jones and Ed Harris lead the cast in a western where Aldean plays a cowboy named Daniel. Watch him shoot a gun from atop a horse in the trailer here.  

» Pope Culture: "The most personal piece of art I've ever created," is how The Voice winner Cassadee Pope describes her debut record, and things get even more intimate in her new CMT docu-series Cassadee Pope: Frame By Frame. The show follows Pope on her first radio tour to promote the album's lead single, "Wasting All These Tears." "It was really jarring at first," Cassadee says of mixing a television production with a schedule that sometimes required four station visits a day. "My fans are the ones who gave me this incredible opportunity to create country music," she says. "I want to ensure they are a part of this incredible journey." The six-episode season begins Oct. 4.

» Beard Science: Newcomer Chris Stapleton has an amazing voice, but he's also known for songwriting and his beard. As Chris travels the country in support of his single "What Are You Listening To?" he created the "Get Cleared With Your Beard" contest. Fans will have the opportunity to submit photos of their beards (and the beards of loved ones) to Stapleton via social media for a chance to win guest list passes to his shows. The first show will be at Joe's Bar in Chicago Sept. 27. More here.

» Farm Team: Luke Bryan will begin his Farm Tour 2013 in Statesboro, GA Oct. 2. Eight dates run through Oct. 12 and will feature openers Chancie Neal, Cole Swindell and the Peach Pickers (Rhett Atkins, Dallas Davidson and Ben Hayslip). More here.

» McBridings Of Comfort And Joy: The 2013 Pandora Jewelry Presents Martina McBride: The Joy Of Christmas Tour kicks off in Huntington, WV Nov. 29. Backed by a 12-piece band, McBride will play 12 dates through Dec. 21 featuring Christmas classics like "Let It Snow" and "O Holy Night," and will participate in an audience Q&A each night. » Toy Story Four: Jennifer Nettles will return to host CMA Country Christmas for the fourth time, taping the two-hour television program Nov. 8 at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena. She'll perform, along with Trace Adkins, Luke Bryan, Sheryl Crow, Lucy Hale, Jake Owen, Kellie Pickler, Rascal Flatts, Darius RuckerMichael W. Smith and more. Attendees are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy for non-profit group Generosity to distribute to children in need. The show will air on ABC-TV this holiday season.
